Recap is striving to make the process of working out your crypto taxes effortless. I worked closely with Recap for 1 year as Creative Lead, designing the UI, UX and brand for their B2C software platform.
Brand
Crypto is bold. It was important that the recap identity was able to stand it's ground among a sea of new crypto startups, at the same time as exuding trust and competence, which is an important characteristic when your business requires people put their trust in you.
UI/UX
The Cryptocurrency industry is still very much in its infancy though tax implications for many users of crypto is now becoming a very real reality. Presenting complex transaction data and empowering users to understand their tax position and transaction history as clearly as possible was a unique & exciting challenge.
